The Vernon Cemetery Project was started in January, 2000.  The project goal was to bring all cemetery records together and create a usable data base of the approximate 7,000 burial plots.  The project was successfully completed in September, 2000.  The City now has the capability to search this vast data base in a fraction of the time it took by hand.

The City wishes to ensure its records are as accurate as possible.  If you know of an individual buried in Vernon Cemetery in an unmarked grave please contact the City so we may verify our records.

Sections open for Sale:  Section O and Section T - ($600.00 for residents $1,000.00 non residents)
Cost for opening & closing: $200.00 weekdays $400.00 weekends and holidays
